BUDDHA A BLACK REVOLUTIONARY
BUDDHA : FIRST BLACK REVOLUTIONARY
The first recorded Black revolutionary in History is the Buddha who fought racism which started in India and the lecture is Buddha was the First Black Revolutionary.
The Buddha Shakymuni Budda did not speak Sankrit but he spoke Prakrit. Sanskrit was and is a racist language
W hen one speaks of African ethnicity, race instantly becomes a controversial subject if the subject speaks favorable of Black people or challenges the prevailing Euro-Centric thoughts in our society
Reading the story of the Buddha has always been synonymous to a Hollywood movie or reading a fairy tale. The Buddha story has been as unreal as watching a white Cleopatra or Columbus discovering an inhabited country occupied with millions of people. Discovering the story of the Black Buddha is like discovering a conspiracy. Once honest people discover a conspiracy honest people want the truth told.
If an African/American ask a priest about the ethnicity of Shakyamuni the question is an honest and respectful question that deserves to be answered. When a White person responds to the question of Shakyamuni's ethnicity by being defensive of White historians of their deleting the Black heritage of Shakyamuni out of history and answers the question with a question What difference does it make presents the white person in a prejudice or racist context. The question of Shakyamuni's ethnicity does make a difference to African and African/Americans
Japanese people protect and preserve their history and traditions, Jewish people protect their history, white people protect their history. Slavery and racism shattered Black history and today Black people are fighting to correct our place in history. Black people have a Buddhist history and we should be only proud to express that history without feeling ashamed or characterized as a racist because we take pride in our Buddhist history.
Buddhism is a religion that started in neither Japan, or China, but is a religion that is practiced by millions of people in Asia. It is historically clear that Buddhism started in the Continent of India. The first inhabitants of India were Black people who migrated from Ethiopia some 50,000 years ago. These Blacks from Africa are known today as Dravidians. There are two types of Blacks from Africa. One had broad features and wooly hair (Nubian) and the other had the aquiline nose and straight hair, both were early descendents from African. These early decents from Africa created perhaps the first civilizations of mankind and if they were not the first they certainly was one of the first civilizations of mankind. The civilization was called the Indus Valley civilization, in the area today known as Pakistan.
These early Blacks perfected a way to make iron rust proof.
One example when you read about Indiathe word Aryan is used to describe the Barbarians from the North who attacked theindigenous Indians. The indigenous Indians were Black people known asDravidians. When using words like savage, and un-educated white people attackedBlack people the writings gets kind of personal.
One of the oldest white documents in the word is the Rig Veda, however if you areBlack do not get too excited about the Rig Veda. The Rig Veda began as songsbefore white people could write and eventually the songs or hymn were writtendown to form the ancient writings called the Rig Veda. Most historians call thesewhite people Indo-Europeans. It is very difficult to visualized India using wordslike Indo-Europeans, to understand clearly we simply use the words Black andWhite. This Rig Veda was the fountainhead of all the sacred knowledge in India
The Brahmanism Was Worst Than Slavery In America
The white Christians used Christianity or at lease got the Roman Catholic Churchto sanction Black slavery in America. Whites in America had to prove that Blackpeople were not human so whites hid the history of ancient Black civilizations. Some white Christians fought against slavery like John brown.
In discussing the matter ofShakyamuni, people ask the question what difference does it make? On writer fromthe news group wrote that people of that era never looked upon race that long ago. We at Proud Buddhist must add that the newsgroup member was living in a fairytale and obvious not honest. Two thousand five hundred ago Blacks and whites were mortal enemies in India , at the time fighting was more tribal than racial. History reveal barbaric tribes from the north defeating and occupying Northern India. The Rig Veda the oldest writings of white people talk of savage battles between Blacks and whites. When whites came to India writings and the dominate Black cultured disappeared. Negative writings of the Rig Veda gives us an indication of the circumstances in India and how changes came about in India.
In the year 500 B.C.E. India was not an aggregate continent dominated only bywhite people or Indo-Europeans. In that day many major and minor kingdomsexisted. White people had kingdoms and Black people had kingdoms. Kingdomstraded respected each other until a war ensued and perhaps one Kingdom wouldabsorb another kingdom or tribe. In 500 B.C. E. there were many kingdomsthroughout India. Many writings reveal that Shakyamuni's father was the King ofa warrior class in a minor Kingdom call Kapilavastu in southern Nepal.
There are white people and Japanese people who have attempted to make me feelbad by my bringing out the racial ethnicity of Shakyamuni. No matter what WhiteHistorians may say or write about Shakyamuni's race please understandShakyamuni's spirit and the racist conditions that existed during his day and today. As I had written earlier white people in India are perhaps the first recorded racistsin history and the Buddha fought white racism that is why I describe him as the firstBlack revolutionary in History because he is recorded as the first Black to fightracism. In India when the whites or Aryans came to finally dominate India (middleages) they instituted a racist system the worst in all humanity that even exist today.Black people in India came under the caste system, a pretty name that does notevoke emotions
If you are Black in India you are the equivalent to; for (lack of a better word) shit (Feces). In India the caste system made you synonymous to shit (Feces). The caste system was much more harsh than slavery in America and it is a despicable system
First and foremost the site of a Black was despicable to a white person and Blacks were only allowed to come out at night, it was polluting to even walk on the shadow of a Black person in India. Black people under the caste system could not wear new clothes, but only clothes from corpse or dead people. Black people in India had to eat from broken plates. To add further insult to their indignity they had to tie a broom around their butt (rear end) to cover their tracks to not let a white man know they have traveled a path. Not only that, they had to travel with a cup around their neck in case they spitted so the spit would not touch the ground that a white mad traveled. Everything about Black was polluting in the eyes of white people. These mis treated humans had to even beat a drum to let whites know they were coming.
The question that whitepeople ask is what difference does it make that the Buddha was Black or White? The answer is axiomatic, in India it does make a difference if you are Black orwhite. The difference is that of a freeman and a slave, a rich man and a poor man,an educated man and an un-educated man. The difference is fortune andmisfortune. The account of the Buddha appearing Black in a hostile environmentlike India gives some reason why Buddhism declined in India.
All of this double talk is foolish; Whites in India simply kicked out anything Black or favorable to Black people.
White historians maliciously deleted the contributions of African people out ofhistory and this great lie creates confusion in our society. The slanting of historycauses ignorance and prejudice in humans.
In order for Africanslavery to be sanctioned by the Roman Catholic Church White people had to liethat African people were not human without a history. Resulting White peoplewrote African people out of Ancient World history and the contributions of AncientBlacks to civilization was simply changed or deleted. Perhaps the writer of the Book Buddhism A History did not read about the Black Buddha and in his thesis he could not account for decline of Buddhism because he could not factor in the BlackBuddha because hundreds of years before his book the fact the Black Buddha was deleted..
In the African/American community we who practice Buddhism today are lookedupon as outcasts practicing a strange oriental religion. When Islam was introducedto African/Americans in the 1940's Black Muslims could proudly tell Black peoplethat their fore parents practiced Islam in Africa before whites made them slaves. We who are African/American or Black do have a Black Buddhist heritage.
Do you know that the first Shogun of Japan was a Black man by the name of Sakanouye no Tamuramaro? He was a warrior symbolized in Japanese history as "a paragon of military virtues". Sakanouye no Tamuramaro helped the Japanese fight the aborigine people of Japan called Ainu. Ainu traditions tell of "race of Black dwarfs" or Koropokguru which inhabited Japan before the coming of the Ainu. In 791 a battle of the Ainu and Japanese was taking place and the Japanese emperor Kwammu (782-806) summoned Sakanouye no Tamuramaro an "African Warrior". After defeating the Ainu and providing services through-out his career in 797 he was named "Sei-i Tai-Shogun" .
